Day 1- Edinburgh
After meeting your guide at Edinburgh airport, you will embark on a Panoramic city Tour of Edinburgh including the old town and new town, the Port of Leith, Princes street, Calton Hill, the meadows and Arthur seat. You will then take a short walk to your lunch place and visit the royal Holyrood Palace in the afternoon. Dinner will be a whisky pairing event at the Scotch Malt Society.
Day 2- Edinburgh
After a visit of the mighty Edinburgh Castle, you will have lunch at the Scotch Whisky Experience, and then head to the first distillery of your trip, Glenkinchie.
Day 3 Perthshire to Speyside, in the heart of Scotland
This morning will start with a Visit of Scone Palace and its magnificent grounds. We will then have Free time for lunch in the picturesque village of Pitlochry, before Visiting Edradour Distillery, the smallest one in Scotland.
Day 4 The Scottish Highlands
This morning will start with a visit of Blair Castle, one of the oldest stronghold still standing in Scotland. After lunch, we will visit Dalwhinnie Distillery, the highest one in Scotland!
Day 5 All about the Spey!
The first Visit of the day will be the distillery of Aberlour, and we will then have the chance to visit the Speyside Cooperage, Craigellachie, where you can see how the casks are treated once coming to Scotland from Portugal or the USA, and are then used for our whisky maturing process. After lunch, in the afternoon, we will visit the fairytale Cawdor Castle.
Day 6 Inverness Fort William, Oban, Inveraray
This morning will start with a Visit of Urquhart Castle, the most romantic ruined castle inScotland, with picturesque views of the Loch Ness. After lunch in Fort William, we will visit Oban Distillery followed by free time to enjoy the harbor.
Day 7 Inveraray to Kennacraig to Port Askaig
This morning we will take the route to Kennacraig where we will board the Ferry to Port Askaig, with lunch aboard.
In the Afternoon, we will visit Caol Isla distillery, before spending the night in Bowmore.
Day 8 Islay
This morning will start with a visit of Bowmore Distillery, followed by Ardbeg distillery where we will also have lunch. We will then leave Port Askaig in the afternoon, and spend the night in a secluded traditional highland village.
Day 9 Inveraray to Loch Lomond and Glasgow
After a visit of Inveraray Castle, stronghold of the mighty Clan Campbell, we will head to the Loch Lomond, king of scottish Lochs, and have lunch in the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. In the afternoon, we will visit Auchentoshan Distillery, before reaching Glasgow.
Day 10 Glasgow
This morning will start with a panoramic Tour of Glasgow. We will then visit its medieval cathedral and have lunch in town. In the afternoon we will visit the Kelvingrove museum, followed by some free time to enjoy Scotland's largest city.
Day 11 Goodbyes
Transfers will be arranged back to Edinburgh Airport.
